How it began
I have been involved in making art off and on since my teens during which I won an art competition at school, designed posters for events and was paid by an ENT Surgeon to produce a set of drawings for his lectures, showing the various stages of a nose operation!!
When my children were young I sold children's personalised birthday cards featuring favourite characters of the day like Thomas the Tank Engine, Thundercats, He Man and She Ra! Unable to afford fancy wallpaper at the time, I decorated my daughter's bedroom with an original Peter Pan themed mural which was much loved and in place for many years.
I sold glass paintings at Polly Flinders Tea Rooms in Bedford and several paintings, commissioned especially as gifts
But my current spurt of creativity came about during the pandemic in 2020 where I found a real joy again in making art and now I have come to a point where I want to share it again.
