How it began
I have been involved in making art off and on since my teens during which I won an art competition at school, designed posters for events and was paid by an ENT Surgeon to produce a set of drawings for his lectures, showing the various stages of a nose operation!!
When my children were young I sold children's personalised birthday cards featuring favourite characters of the day like Thomas the Tank Engine, Thundercats, He Man and She Ra! Unable to afford fancy wallpaper at the time, I decorated my daughter's bedroom with an original Peter Pan themed mural which was much loved and in place for many years.
I sold glass paintings at Polly Flinders Tea Rooms in Bedford and sold a few paintings commissioned especially as gifts
But my current spurt of creativity came about during the pandemic in 2020 where I found a real joy again in making art and now I have come to a point where I would like to share my art with others.
